Giving it a try

As I grow my hair out, hating every minute, I can't wait to try out new style. Here is one I found on Pinterest (yep a new favorite place). Not too bad for being hair challenged, severely. I added two of my amethyst chiffon hair flowers. Hopefully I can get this down a little better, but I am pleased with myself.

If you love these flowers check them out in my Etsy shop.

Pinterest Project

Here is one of my completed Pinterest Projects, I have thousands more. I bought the twig wreath at Hobby Lobby. I then made burlap and fabric flowers. I also made leaves and ribbon accents with the burlap. It was a lot of fun and I love it. I had a friend stop by yesterday and wants one so now I get to make another. Can't wait!

GIVEAWAY TIME

It is time for a giveaway again. ScaryCute's facebook page is almost to 100 fans. Once we get there I will be giving away a surprise trio of hair flowers. So become a fan, leave a comment, spread the word.  Who knows if we hit more then 150 I could be giving two hair sets away.

Back to School

The kids are back in school and we are all adjusting to our new routine. I am anxious to get life back in order and to get working on my creations again. We played hard this summer and soaked every minute of it up with friends and family. Up all night and sleep half the day seemed to be our motto this summer. It was tons of fun, but I am ready for some order in my life and time to get projects done, not only on the house but in scrapbooking and with my shop SCARYCUTE. Hopefully I will have lots of fun new things to post and hopefully I will be more dillegent in keeping up on things.

Total slacker

I feel like a total slacker here, but life is always crazy at the end of the school year. It doesn't help that we are trying to get our house ready to sell, so hopefully in the next month I will have time to devote to the more crafty things in my life.

Baby Girl Card

At first I was not too sure about this card. I really haven't done a grid or quilting pattern loo that I love. I was wrong and am glad I tried this because I am loving this card too.
I once again took the 8.5x11 inch white cardstock and cut in in half and then folded it in half to make a 4.25x5.5 inch card. I then cute pieces of patterned cardstock from Nana's Nursery by DCWV stack.
The layout of this card came from Let's Scrap card sketch 11-24-09
I then used a Stampin' Up PJ (or snuggle bunny) stamp and colored it with the Stampin' Up Markers.
